Peaceful valleys and green-velvet hills provide a perfect backdrop to this preserve’s scenic lake dotted with canoes and paddleboats. The fishing is good from your boat or the dock.
Campsites: 296 power and water only, no overflow sites.
Rentals: 30 cabins.

From Jackson, TN: From Interstate 40 take 45 bypass south to Hwy. 18 south to Bolivar. At second light in Bolivar (Courthouse Square) go through the light and then you’re on 125 south to Middleton, turn west on Hwy. 57 and continue about 8 miles. Turn on Old State Line Road; there is no sign, so look for totem pole. Continue about 1.5 miles to the preserve.
From Memphis: Drive east to Collierville, follow Hwy. 72 to Hwy. 7, turn on Hwy. 7, which turns into Hwy. 18, (crossing the state line), follow Hwy. 18 to Grand Junction and turn right on Hwy. 57. Continue about 8 miles then turn right on Old State Line Road. There is no sign, so look for the totem pole. Continue about 1.5 miles to the preserve.
