Just south of both the Orlando and Tampa metropolitan areas, the Peace River Preserve is ideally situated on the beautiful Peace River. Local attractions include the famous Solomon’s Castle as well as the Lippizan Stallion training grounds. Within two hours, you can visit either the Atlantic Ocean or the beautiful white sands of the Gulf of Mexico! Fossil hunting, canoeing and kayaking are popular activities for you to enjoy on the Peace River. Take a hike on the nature trails for a glimpse of what the real Florida is all about!
Campsites: 200 full-hookup, 200 power/water only (honey wagon service Dec. through March).
Rentals: 9 cabins.

From the south: Take US 27 north to US 70 West, about 60 miles to Arcadia. Take US 17 north approximately 24 miles to Zolfo Springs. The preserve is just after the Peace River Bridge on the right.
From the north (Clermont): Take US 27 south, about 70 miles. Go right on SR 64, about 12 miles. Turn on US 64 toward Zolfo Springs, about seven miles. Turn right on US 17 South, less than one mile. Cross the Peace River Bridge and the preserve is on the right.
